STATUS Exempt, Salaried
This position serves as the primary compliance and quality assurance officer, with overall responsibility for managing internal incident reporting, policies and procedures, and training.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Investigate all allegations of Abuse, Neglect, and/or Exploitation and submit all reports in a timely manner, meeting state deadlines

Maintain internal record of all reports

Be available 24/7 to receive reports and conduct investigations

Track and analyze incidents looking for trends and make recommendations on how to avoid future incidents

Be an active member of the Human Rights Committee

Assist Chief Human Resources Officer in addressing the training needs of agency staff

Serve as agency designee to accrediting bodies
REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
At least a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. 5 years experience working in the ID/DD field is acceptable in lieu of degree. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must have the ability to work independently and have high organizational skills. CPR/AED & First Aid certification required.
