Grant Writer

purpose

  • As part of the Advancement Department, the Grant Writer will help further Corvilla’s mission by researching and obtaining grants.

specific areas of responsibility

  • Seek local, regional and national grant opportunities, maintaining a list of those Corvilla should apply for in our project management software

  • Alongside the CAO, develop relationships with local foundations and grantors, including those we’ve previously received grants from

  • Write compelling grants to supplement funding for our services and provide for new opportunities

  • Upon being awarded grants, do all follow-up reporting as needed, working with CAO to ensure anything related to marketing is taken care of

Schedule

  • Part-time (24 hrs./week: Three 8-hour days or four 6-hour days, 1 day each week can be remote)

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree and at least 2 years of experience in grant writing is required. All positions at Corvilla, Inc. require that employees are free from all felonies, have a valid driver’s license, and employee must be insurable by our insurance carrier.  Must possess quality domestic skills, good written and verbal communication skills. Employees will become certified in First Aid, CPR/AED
