Expectation:
Work directly with staff on location as a coach/mentor to develop positive and productive work habits in line with Corvilla’s values and expectations.
Specific Areas of Responsibility:

Support/reinforce Corvilla values and trainings including leadership expectations, Mandt, customer service, ethics, teamwork and staff/client development.

Model positive and supportive interactions with staff and clients; work directly with clients alongside staff.

Coach staff on areas of needed improvement and give feedback on progress

Meet with newly hired DSPs to offer support

Be available to staff requesting extra help or guidance.

Make recommendations for needed program improvements to management.

Train personnel and volunteers as needed.

Perform assigned duties in such a manner that will ensure compliance with CARF standards, agency policies/procedures and all other regulatory bodies.

Resident Safety.

Active Treatment.

Assistance with completion of all aspects of activities of daily living (ADL’s)

Cleaning.

Data collection of program goals & behavior tracking in Therap system.

Ability to work with others to benefit client needs.

Ability to participate in individual and group activities to promote a positive and caring day environment.

All other responsibilities as assigned.

Ability to function effectively as a team player. Ability to represent Corvilla in a variety of public settings.
Reports To:
Director of Development
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Experience in developing people and programs in the field of intellectual disabilities. Must have the ability to listen, teach and support others.
