Corvilla is dedicated to helping students with disabilities discover their potential and go on to obtain and maintain meaningful jobs in their community. We currently have positions open working with students at Goshen High Schools as well as at the Elkhart County Young Adult Program.

As an Employment Transition Specialist, you will assist individuals aged 14-22 to determine what their career path will look like after they graduate. Will they go straight to work? Do they need vocational training or post-secondary school to help prepare them for their career goals? Working closely with students with IEP's, teachers, and families, you will provide life-changing services to these youth.

 

We hire passionate, patient, out-of-the-box thinkers to work in our employment department. Previous experience with individuals with disabilities is not required. We provide all training. We are more interested in attitude, strong character, and the length of time you have been in your jobs, than the actual jobs you have held. If you're tired of retail, food service or factory work, consider doing something more meaningful!

 

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is energetic, self-motivated and professional. Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills are a must.
