Corvilla provides life-enhancing services to enrich the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while encouraging respect and dignity in the communities in which we live. We are looking to add a Q-Tech to our team!


Specific Areas of Responsibility:

  • Be familiar with group home regulations and ensure regulations are being followed under direction of QIDPs.

  • Monitor tracking and documentation in homes.

  • Ensure documentation in homes is up to date.

  • Assist in training on new risk plans and goals.

  • Enforcing execution and documentation of goals and risk plans.

  • Side by side training and support for group home managers.

  • Participate in on-call responsibilities

  • Consult with QIDP's on risk plans and goals. Review with QIDP quarterly to ensure plans are still applicable to clients abilities and interests.

  • Perform environmental checks, report any issues to maintenance.

  • Participate in house meetings, manager meetings, and on-call meetings.

  • Take responsibility for group home when house managers are on vacation or off sick.

  • Observe for signs of abuse or neglect.

  • One day a week at each home, rotating shifts, unless covering managers time off. One day for administrative.

  • Visit day programs every quarter to observe clients there.

  • Promote healthy workplace attitudes.

  • Be a consistent promoter of Corvilla values.

  • Watch DSP’s do med passes in each home, rotating through staff as much as possible.

  • Be able to perform med audits in homes, reporting any medication errors to compliance to ensure they are properly reported to the state.

  • Provide feedback to all staff while working in homes.

  • DSP duties as needed.

  • Provide extra support for homes that may need it.

  • Assist managers with minor disciplinary actions after consulting with QIDP.

  • Fill shifts when options with staff, outside staff, and house managers are exhausted.

  • Help create a fun and fulfilling workplace for staff and a fun, enriching home for clients.


Position Requirements:

  • Free from all felonies, have a valid driver’s license, and employee must be insurable by our insurance carrier. Must possess quality domestic skills, good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This position requires employees to be even tempered and patient. Employees will become certified in First Aid, CPR/AED, MANDT and Medication Administration.
