The Director of Employment Services is responsible for the maintenance and ongoing development of services, which enhance employment opportunities for the individuals who require assistance in obtaining or maintaining employment. The Director is also responsible for profitable operations and quality services.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Provides supervision and technical assistance to Employment Services Staff including identifying and addressing staff development needs.

Serves as a primary agency contact for Vocational Rehabilitation and other referral agencies/third party payers.

Prepares all reports related to CARF, purchase of service agreements and routine management reports related to area of responsibility.

Assures that services provided are in compliance with all audit and operational standards established by regulations and meet quality standards established by Corvilla.

Models leadership and commitment both internally to staff and externally in community settings. Promotes communication, cooperation and continuous quality improvement in all settings.

Develop outcome measurements for Employment Services. Measure results throughout the year, reporting on progress to management team in monthly management team reports.

Supervisors all staff assigned to Community Employment
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Work is performed in a normal office environment with occasional lightweight lifting, bending, stooping or sitting in a confined position. Requires considerable local travel to a variety of job sites and meeting locations.
EQUIPMENT OPERATED
General office equipment, computer, cell phone, other forms of technology as needed to assist clients and perform job. Operates personal vehicle or arranges own transportation.
REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Preference of Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation, Psychology or appropriate alternative, and one years related work experience. Consideration will be given to a person with an Associate’s degree and three years of related work experience or a candidate with a high school diploma and five years related work experience. Work experience with individuals experiencing a disability as well as experience in a variety of employment settings is preferred. Previous supervision of professional staff. Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal. No evidence of illegal drug use or drug abuse. No evidence of criminal activity involving a dependent population or any violent criminal activity. CPR/First Aid and Mandt Certifications required.
