Corvilla is a not for profit organization that provides homes for 28 residents with developmental disabilities. We strive to create a comfortable, family atmosphere for all our residents-because in some cases, Corvilla is the only family they have.
Our home on Bulla Road was originally only available as a respite for adults and children. Today, eight adults live in this home. These enthusiastic residents enjoy going out to the movies, dinner, and taking an active part in the daily routine of the house, including cooking, cleaning and planning vacations.
Our second group home on Myrtle Drive houses seven outgoing residents who like to watch sports, attend church and visit with family and friends. They also enjoy relaxing outside in the yard on beautiful spring, summer and fall days.
Our third house on Roelke Drive is home to five residents who love to entertain other Corvilla residents in their home by hosting parties and picnics. They also enjoy shopping, and visiting friends and family.
The fourth Corvilla home is located on Fellows Street and opened in 1992. This attractive duplex houses both men and women. These eight fun-loving residents enjoy going out for pizza, visiting friends and family members.
All four Corvilla homes are handicap accessible and have been remodeled to meet the resident's specific needs and reflect their own interests and personalities. Each home has up to date, comfortable and safe transportation to get the residents out of the house and into the community.
Thanks to our professional staff, volunteers and the resident's family members, all of Corvilla's group homes continue to successfully meet and exceed state standards in quality of residence, quality of staff and quality of life.
Corvilla's goal for the future is to continually design solutions for area families who struggle to cope with the difficulties of caring for a developmentally disabled family member. We rely on the generous support of businesses, organizations and individuals in our community to maintain a good quality of life for the residents.
